ESE BRUME WINS GOLD IN WOMEN LONG JUMP IN COMMONWEALTH GAMES 

Nigeria’s long jump super star Ese Brume has won the women long jump gold in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Brume jumped 7.0 to beat the Commonwealth Games Record of 6.97m set by Australia’s Bronwyn Thompson in Melbourne in 2006.

Two weeks ago, she won the silver at the World Athletics championships in Oregon.

Earlier today, her compatriot,?Tobi Amusan, won the women’s 100 meters hurdles.

Amusan also set a new games record of 12:30 seconds at the Alexander Stadium on Sunday.
