News Investigators/ Rabi’u Danbappa, the Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, on Tuesday inaugurated six return flights of 493 states pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Mr Danbappa encouraged the pilgrims to leverage the spiritual insights and experiences acquired during the pilgrimage to make a positive impact on their communities.”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Max Air successfully airlifted 493 pilgrims, along with government officials, from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on a flight that departed at 7:38 a.m.
The pilgrims drawn from five Local Government Areas in Kano State, along with national officials, would return home on the six flights.
Mr Danbappa said that upon arrival, the pilgrims would proceed to the Hajj Camp in Kano to collect their allotted Zamzam water provided by the state government as part of their welcome package.
