The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested controversial cross dresser, Idris Okuneye alias Bobrisky for Naira abuse.
He was arrested for spraying the national currency and mutilating it.
Bobrisky who was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night is being detained by the anti graft agency.
The spokesperson of the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest of Bobrisky to the media.
He said that while the matter is still being investigation, the agency would charge him to court.
“Bobrisky is with us. He was arrested last night in Lagos, and he is at our Lagos command. We arrested him for alleged abuse of naira notes, spraying of nara notes, and currency mutilation, among others.
“We are very serious about restoring the dignity of the naira. Though our investigation is still ongoing, but he will definitely be charged to court soon.”
