A Deputy Commissioner of Police with the Lagos State Police Command, DCP Gbolahan Oyedemi, has been found dead in his Ogbomoso, Oyo State, residence.
The late Senior Police Officer was the Aide de Camp to former governor of Oyo State, Late Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, in 2006.
There are strong indications that the the Deputy Commissioner may have committed suicide as his body was found hanging in his residence.
He was said to have visited his country home of Ogbomoso to celebrate the Easter celebrations at the weekend.
The Network gathered that the late CP was living alone without a wife at Petros Academy Street, Federal Lowcost area of Ognomoso.
He was said to have released his aides to visit their respective families for the Easter celebrations before the unfortunate discovery of his death.
The Lagos State Police Command and its Oyo counterpart are yet to react on this shocking development.
