Alleged N432 Billion Fraud: El-Rufai Fights Back, Sues State Lawmakers

News Investigators/ A former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has dragged the State House of Assembly to court following his indictment on the alleged misappropriation of ₦432 billion state fund.

The Kaduna State lawmakers had submitted a damning report of its investigation which accused Mr. Rl Rufai’s 8years administration of siphoning N432billion government money, leaving the State with huge debt liabilities.

The former state governor, Wednesday, filed a fundamental rights suit at the Federal High Court in Kaduna against the state House of Assembly challenging the report.

A news report monitored on Channels TV said, El-Rufai in the suit filed by his lawyer Abdulhakeem Mustapha, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), challenged the report of the Kaduna Assembly Committee, which indicted him for alleged corruption
