TINUBU MEETS WITH NIGERIA’S SECURITY CHIEFS,

President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday met with the nation’s security chiefs at the Presidential villa in Abuja.

This is Tinubu’s first security meeting, four days after his administration was inaugurated.

The meeting which was summoned by the President  had  all the  service chiefs, lead by  the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor in attendance. 

They are the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao, and the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.

Also in attendance were the Director-General of the Department of State Service(DSS), Yusuf Bichi; the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.

It would be recalled that on Wednesday, the President met with Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, to brief the president on the war against corruption.
