President Bola Tinubu is hosting a former leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, at the Presidential villa, Abuja.
Asari was also President of the Ijaw Youth Council.
The meeting is believed to be part of the ongoing consultation with leaders in the oil producing Niger Delta region.
The President had earlier met with other leaders of the Niger Delta such as a former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Timi Alaibe, and former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). Dr Dakuku Peterside.
