A total of three persons were killed during the FCT Area Council Polls which held on Saturday.
Two suspected thugs lost their lives at Orozo Collation Centre while a middle-aged woman was killed inadvertently by a reckless party supporter riding a motorcycle at Karu.
It was gathered that the two people were among seven suspected thugs from Karchi, a nearby community, who attempted to snatch ballot boxes at the collation Centre.
A source said that the youths from Orozo who prevented the thugs from escaping with the ballot boxes also caught two others and handed them over to security men.
It was gathered that the woman who died in the motor bike accident was on her way to cast her vote at PU048, Salasi opposite Post Office, in Karu, Abuja Municipal Area Council. when a supporter of one of the parties who was riding a motorcycle knocked her down around 10:20 am.
A crowd of voters at the Centre immediately apprehended the rider and handed him over to the policemen on election duty.
