Tension As Suspected herders allegedly kills farmer in ibarapa

Suspected herder has reportedly killed a cashew farmer identified as Musa Monsuru popularly addressed as Atiku at Araromi village in ibarapa central local government area igboora, Oyo state.

Monsuru, as reliably gathered was murdered while working on his farmland at Araromi village on Monday.

The incident has created panic among the villagers noting the previous incidents in the area that had resulted into the death of innocent farmers in the area.

As at the time of filing this report, nobody could ascertain the motives behind the gruesome murder of the deceased.

However, when contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso in a text message forwarded to our correspondent said the matter is being investigated.

It reads, “Investigations are ongoing, updates would be provided accordingly.
