Sule Re-Assures PASAN, Other Workers Of Better Welfare Packages

News Investigators/ Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has re-assured legislative staff and other workers of his administration’s continued commitment to improve their standard of living.

Sule gave the assurance during the 25th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria ( PASAN) in  Lafia on Thursday.

The governor said that he approved Consolidated Legislative Salary Structure (CONLESS) for PASAN members for improved productivity.

“I have approved CONLESS for PASAN staff, approved absorption of casual staff and employment of new ones for effective service delivery in the legislative arm.

“I think my administration has done everything for PASAN members in the state,” he said.

Sule lauded the 7th Assembly under the leadership of Mr Danladi Jatau for the good working relationship and for giving him all the necessary support to succeed.

“All these things could not be possible without good working relationship given to me by the 7th Assembly under the leadership of Jatau.

“The state is progressing in terms of welfare of workers and infrastructural development among others,” the governor added.

The governor wished them peaceful and successful deliberations.

On his part, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, expressed his continued commitment to improving the welfare of the PASAN members.

The participants commended Sule and the Speaker for the implementation of CONLESS, regular promotions and other welfare packages to PASAN members.

They also appreciated them for their support for the association to hold the NEC in the state.
