News Investigators/ The Renewed Hope Advocacy and Grassroots Engagement Network (RHAGEN) has unveiled Shuaibu Jaja as its Director-General (D-G) designate.
The network disclosed this in a statement issued by its Secretary-General and National Coordinator (Structure Mobilisation), Harrison Sam, on Thursday in Abuja.
According to the statement, Mr Jaja’s appointment was ratified at a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC), presided over by Sam.
It said that members of the NWC unanimously endorsed Jaja as D-G designate in recognition of his leadership credentials, extensive public service experience and commitment to grassroots development.
It said that RHAGEN was established as a strategic national platform to deepen citizen engagement and strengthen grassroots political participation across the country.
The statement quoted Mr Sam as saying that RHAGEN would also serve as a dependable bridge between government and the people in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking on the significance of the unveiling, Mr Sam said RHAGEN was not merely another political support group, but a dynamic advocacy and grassroots mobilisation platform committed to supporting government reforms and promoting civic participation.
He said the network would champion people-centred policies and build one of the country’s strongest grassroots structures to support national development.
He said RHAGEN’s mission was to mobilise millions of Nigerians in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda and consolidate public confidence in the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Mr Sam that the network would work with relevant stakeholders to ensure electoral success for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections, from the presidential to all other elections.
He described Jaja as a distinguished scholar and administrator.
“Mr Jaja served two terms as Executive Chairman of Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna, where he earned recognition for excellence in governance, youth empowerment, education and community development.
“He also completed executive leadership programmes in Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom, and at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru.”
He further said that RHAGEN would soon begin strategic engagements with government institutions, political leaders, development partners, traditional institutions, youth and women groups, as well as other key stakeholders.
According to him, the engagements are aimed at expanding the network’s nationwide reach and strengthening support for the Renewed Hope vision.
He said the organisation would focus on advocacy, grassroots engagement and political mobilisation in support of sustainable development and the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
