PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: OBI OVERTAKES TINUBU IN LAGOS

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has overtaken his  APC counterpart Asiwaju Bola Tinubu  in released  results of the Presidential election in Lagos on Saturday. 

Out of the 17 local governments have been declared by INEC as at 3:30 am  Obi has polled 449,088 votes while Tinubu has so far garnered 416,,431 votes.

APC won in 10 local government areas while the LP won seven local government areas.

Tinubu won in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland and Surulere, local government area whitecaps won in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo and Somolu.

Collation of the results in Lagos was adjourned to 10: 00 am on Monday as results of Alimosho, Ojo and Mushin are being expected.
