President Of 80th Session Of UNGA To Visit China

News Investigators/ The President of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Annalena Baerbock will visit China from April 29 to April 30, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday.

The UNGA president will make the trip at the invitation of Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese Foreign Minister.

Baerbock, former Foreign Minister of Germany, is presiding over the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, which runs from September 2025 to September 2026.

The spokesperson said the visit aims to strengthen multilateral cooperation and includes meetings with government officials and the UN country team.
