PDP CRISIS: WIKE BOYCOTTS ATIKU’S MEETING WITH PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS

The Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Wednesday boycotted the meeting between the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the 2023 presidential aspirants of the party.

The meeting with the PDP aspirants which held at Atiku’s Asokoro residence Abuja had in attendance Dele Momodu, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, Tari Oliver, and Charles Ugwu.

However, former Senate Pius Anyim Bukola Saraki and Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State did not attend the meeting.

The PDP Presidential Candidate commended the aspirants for accepting the outcome of the primaries.

He promised to work with all of them to ensure the party’s victory at the 2023 general elections.

Wike, and some governors and party leaders have been at war with Atiku since he picked the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
