News Investigators/ Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi informed Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam on Monday that preparations for the second phase of talks in Islamabad have been completed.
According to the Ministry of Interior, foolproof security arrangements have been put in place for visiting foreign delegations.
Naqvi emphasised the importance of resolving disputes through dialogue and negotiations, stressing that a sustainable solution is essential for long-term regional stability and peace.
The Iranian envoy appreciated Pakistan’s “positive and constructive role” in efforts aimed at reducing tensions and facilitating dialogue in the region, the statement said.
Earlier in the day, the interior minister visited the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and updated the U.S. side about the security arrangements for the second round of Islamabad talks, said a statement from the ministry.
