NASS Service Commission Confirms Sidi As Clerk To House Of Reps

News Investigators/ National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has confirmed the appointment of Mr Ibrahim Sidi as the substantive Clerk to the House of Representatives.

In a statement on Wednesday, the commission’s Director of Public Affairs, Nwokpoku Anyigor, said that other four senior officers were also elevated at the 31st meeting of the 6th NASC held in Abuja.

He said that Mr Dauda Bukar was confirmed as the Deputy Clerk, Administration while Mr Siyaka Sadiq was confirmed as Deputy Clerk, Legislative, of the green chambers.

Mr Anyigor also said that Mr Bashir Layya was confirmed as Secretary, Estates and Works, Mrs Asien Nana as Secretary, Zonal Liaison Offices and Mrs Fortune Ihua-Maduenyi as Secretary of Protocol and Inter-Parliamentary Relations.

He recalled that the commission had, on January, 20, elevated the officers to their respective posts in acting capacity before the confirmation of their appointments now.
