Kano-bound Train Derails At Jebba, Kwara State

A Kano-bound train which took off from Lagos has derailed at Jebba, Kwara State, on Sunday morning.

The managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Mr Fidel Okhiria, confirmed the train mishap to the media.

However, there is no comment on whether there are casualties and the number if any,

Okhiria was quoted as having said that the accident involved only the back luggage coaches.

However, a short video clip on the accident site at Jebba by AIT showed that all the coaches at the rare fell off the rail track.

There also pictures of a fallen coach in between the rear coaches and some damaged rail tracks.
