The Young Progressives Party (YPP) House of Representatives candidate for Ihiala Federal Constituency, Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam says the journey to reclaim the area is “no retreat and no surrender”.
Maduakolam stated this during an interactive session with a youth support group in the council area on Saturday.
The Azia based lawyer appreciated the youths who according to him are in the forefront of ensuring that operation CLEAN Ihiala becomes a reality noting that he recognized all their efforts and that the uncommon gesture humbles him and spur him on.
“We have gone too far that to turn back from this struggle. That has become impossible. Our obligation to the future generation starts from our resolve to CLEAN Ihiala. How else do we do this if not ensuring a purposeful representation at the House of Representatives?” He declared.
The UK trained lawyer said emphatically that the journey to reclaim Ihiala Federal Constituency has actually become a case of no retreat, no surrender.
“The CLEAN project is a movement, and its time has come. No one can stop us. We remain thankful for your support and assure you that we are on course. Together, we shall CLEAN-Ihiala for a greater tomorrow.” Maduakolam assured.
The leader of the youth support group, Mazi Joel Ikechukwu in his speech said that right from the moment, Barr Maduakolam declared his intention to contest for the lower chamber of the National Assembly, he has been intentional about bringing a total reformation into the system.
He said that the CLEAN ideology of the human rights lawyer prioritizes programs that will positively impact Ihiala people in various sectors and bring about workable, responsible and responsive legislation that will bring prosperity to the Ihiala Federal Constituency and, by extension, the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ikechukwu assured the YPP House of Representatives hopeful of the unflinching support of the progressive Ihiala youths who according to him outnumber the conservatives.
