“It is gratifying that the engagement has opened discussions on Yobe State’s potential participation in a United Nations Youth Townhall scheduled for Heidelberg, Germany, and a proposed youth-development boot camp to exploit investment opportunities in education, skills development, enterprise and youth inclusion,” Mohammed said.
He said the delegation also participated in the Accra Reset launch of A Sovereign Future for Health, alongside prominent African leaders, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.
The aide said the high-level engagement focused on African ownership of health systems, domestic financing and stronger institutional capacity.
“Its objectives resonate with Gov Buni’s investments in healthcare infrastructure, service expansion, workforce development and the strengthening of Yobe State’s health system after years of insurgency,” Mohammed said.
