INEC DECLARES  PDP’s ENO GOVERNOR- ELECT IN A’IBOM

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), governorship candidate for the March 18, gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections, Mr. Umo Eno, has been declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Returning Officer, Prof. Emmanuel Adigio, Vice Chancellor, Nigerian Maritime University, Delta State, announced the results on Sunday in Uyo and declared Eno,

Governor-elect.

Adigio announced Eno the winner of 29 out of 31 Local Government Areas of the state.

He said that the PDP candidate pulled 354,348 votes, beating closet rival, from the Young Progressive Party, Senator Bassey Akpan who got 136,262 votes.

According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC), scored 129,602 votes while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 12,509 votes, while Labour Party (LP) scored 4,746 votes, respectively.
