GUN MEN ABDUCT EDO IPMAN CHAIRMAN

Dare devil gunmen have abducted the Chairman of the Independent Marketers Association, Edo State Chapter, Abdulhamid Egele, from his resident in Edo State.

A source said that the attack on the residence of the IPMAN boss took place on Monday night.

The gunmen also killed the driver and injured the security man attached to the kidnapped IPMAN boss in the attack at Jattu, in Etsako West Local Government Area of the State.

The Spokesman of the Edo State Police Command, Bello Kontongs, confirmed the unfortunate incident to journalists in Benin.

Kotongs said that the police had commenced investigation into the matter and had commenced efforts to rescue him were on.

A source said that the assailants ambushed the IPMAN Chairman with two unmarked vehicles at the gate to his country home.
