FORMER ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION PRINCE BOLA AJIBOLA IS DEAD

A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Bola Ajibola is dead.

Prince Ajibola who was a former Judge of International Court of Justice, died at the age of 89.

The Network gathered that the former prominent AGF died in the early hours of Sunday.

A prominent human right crusader, Mr Richard Akinnola announced the death of the late AGF on his Facebook page on Sunday

“Rest in peace sir, Judge Bola Ajibola, a former Attorney-General of the Federation and a former Judge of International Court of Justice.” He wrote

The Eminent Jurists was Attorney General and the Minister of Justice of Nigeria from 1985 to 1991 and a Judge of the International Court of Justice from 1991 to 1994.[3]

He was president of the Nigerian Bar Association from 1984 to 1985. He was also one of five commissioners on the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission, organized through the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
