Former President, Goodluck Jonathan was involved in a road accident in Abuja on Wednesday.
The Network gathered that the former President was being driven from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, to his residence when the accident occurred.
The Network gathered two of the aides of the former President died while he escaped unhurt.
A source told the Network that the former President left Yenagoa for Abuja late in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had posted on his Twitter handle that the story of the accident and the loss of two of Jonathan’s aides came as a shock to him.
“This story comes across with a rude shock. We thank God for sparing the life of President @GEJonathan. But it is heart wrenching that he lost two of his aides to the auto accident.
“I console the immediate families of the deceased as well as President Jonathan. May the souls of the departed Rest In Peace.” He said
