News Investigators/ The First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu and the Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima on Friday visited the former First Lady, Dr Aisha Buhari in Kaduna.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mrs Tinubu was also accompanied by wives of the leadership of the National Assembly, wives of state governors to condoled with the former president’s wife.
The visit took place at the residence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, after the family recently returned to the family house in Kaduna from Daura, Katsina, where the former president was buried.
The First Lady and her entourage were warmly received by Aisha and her children and other members of the family.
NAN recalled that in July, Mrs Tinubu during tribute to Buhari, had described the late President as an accomplished man, who made his family, town, state and nation very proud.
The First Lady and her company prayed for the family and the deceased soul to keep resting in peace.
One of the children of Buhari, Barr. Halima Sheriff, who responded on behalf of the family, appreciated Mrs Tinubu for her compassion.
She thanked all the guests for coming and for praying for her mother and the family since the passage of their father
Buhari died in a London hospital on July 13 and was buried on July 15.
