News Investigators/ Accreditation and voting have begun at the Pilot Science Primary School and Health Care Centre of Kwali Area Council Area polling units for the Chairmanship and Counselorship positions.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that eligible voters in their numbers were already on queue awaiting accreditation and voting.
NAN also observed the presence of electoral officers and security personnel at polling unit 013, Pilot Science Primary School and polling unit 003 at Health Centre, Kwali.
The security personnel, comprising officials of Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) were on ground to ensure orderliness at the respective polling units.
NAN also reports that the polling unit 013 has 780 registered voters, while polling unit 003 had 774 registered voters.
Mr Ahmad Badaru, a voter told NAN that he was satisfied with the INEC arrangement, stating that the presiding electoral officers arrived the polling unit on time with voting materials.
He expressed belief that the orderliness currently been experienced would be maintained through out the election, considering the enthusiasm of members of the community to participate in the election.
Mrs Amina Masara, however, told NAN that she was initially reluctant to participate in the exercise, based on her perception in the previous elections.
She expressed joy that the situation at the moment connotes peace and orderliness.
