News Investigators/ Fans and supporters of Nigerian music megastar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, have continued to celebrate him with goodwill messages on his wedding to Chioma Rowland.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the celebrity couple had their highly anticipated wedding on Sunday in Miami, United States.
The white wedding came after a traditional wedding celebration held in 2024, and their court wedding in 2023.
The Miami ceremony was attended by family, friends, top political figures, business executives and entertainment stars from Nigeria and beyond.
Some of the artistes who attended the society wedding included Adekunle Gold, Teni, Zlatan Ibile, who were also present at the couple’s pre-wedding dinner.
In trendy videos online that captured highlights of the event, Davido spoke with visible emotion, describing Chioma as his “love, peace, and home”.
He said: “Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the most nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home.
“You walked into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. God sent you to show me what unconditional love feels.
“We’ve known love only people can dream of, and pain only we can understand, and we are still here. I promise to protect you,” Davido said.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner, who earlier revealed that the grand wedding cost a total of 3.7 million dollars, paid a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, by wearing specially crafted cufflinks bearing the boy’s image.
Video clips and photos from the wedding that are now trending on social media have continued to generate reactions from his passionate fan base, known as the ‘30BG’.
Many sent him prayers and best wishes, while others particularly congratulated his wife, Chioma, for staying committed to the relationship that has now led to their marriage.
