The Department of State Service (DSS) may arraign the self-nominated hostage negotiator and Publisher of Herald Newspaper, Tukur Mamu.
The Service revealed that its operatives carried out a raid at the office and residence of Tukur Mamu on Thursday, in Kaduna State, and recovered materials, that could assist the DSS in prosecuting Mamu
According to the DSS, items discovered from his office and residential building includes bulk amounts of different currencies and denominations, military accoutrements and financial transaction instruments.
The DSS spokesman, Dr. Peter Afunanya, stated on the outcome of the raid with a newsmen.
According to him, the house and his office were raided after the Service obtained a search warrant on his residence
Afunanya said Tukur Mamu would be charged to court because of the many incriminating things they recovered from his residence.
The DSS spokesman was quoted to have said, “So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office.
“During the processes, incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered.”
