Dare-devil Robbers Hijack Bullion Van containing millions of Naira In Delta

In what appeared like scene from a movie, some armed men attacked a bullion van belonging to a yet to be identified commercial bank in Delta State.

During the operation, which occured along the Otor-Owhe road, the robbers shot repeatedly at the bullion van being escorted by a team of policemen and heading towards the Ughelli-Asaba expressway in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The criminals succeeded in breaking into the vehicle and carting away the money inside.

It was not immediately if there were any casualities even though the windshield of the bullion van was shattered by bullets.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be immediately be reached for comment on the incident.
