One of the biggest fish markets in the Niger Delta and Nigeria, the Ogbeh Ijo fish market, in Warri, Delta State, has been gutted by fire.
As at the time of filing this report, firefighters are still battling to put out the fire which started around 2:30 pm.
A Delta State Government Official who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said that the fire started from some make shift structures within the market where some people embark on an illicit trade in diesel, kerosene and even petrol.
