The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has confirmed the resignation of the Chairman of the party, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and the Secretary, Sen. Iyiola Omisore.
The Deputy National Chairman, North, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, made the disclosure after a meeting of the NWC on Monday at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.
“The NWC wishes to inform you of the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and Secretary, Sen. Iyiola Omisore.
“It is now incumbent on me as the Deputy National Chairman, North, and the Deputy National Secretary to assume the roles.’
Kyari said that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday have been postponed.
He noted that a new date for the meetings would be announced.
