BPP Mandates Digital Submission Of Procurement Requests

News Investigators/ Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has announced the mandatory submission of all requests and procurement-related details through its Digital Submission Portal.

The Director-General of BPP, Adebowale Adedokun, made this known in a statement issued by Ngozi Anyaelezu, Assistant Chief Information Officer, in Abuja on Monday,

Mr Adedokun said the directive was in line with the Federal Government’s digital transition initiative and paperless governance strategy.

He said the directive followed the BPP circular referenced BPP/DG/2026/583, dated Feb. 18, 2026, titled: “Transition to the BPP Submission Portal for all Official Correspondence and Requests.”

According to him, the portal is a web-based and automated platform designed to enable Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), vendors, contractors, consultants and service providers to submit relevant requests and procurement-related details to the bureau.

“This will enhance transparency, upgrade operational workflows, eliminate bureaucratic delays and reinforce accountability across public procurement,” he said.

Mr Adedokun said the migration marked the phase-out of manual filings and physical document submissions for all correspondence, project requests and procurement filings.

“The bureau will no longer receive manual submissions,” he said.

Mr Adedokun urged all accounting officers in MDAs and other stakeholders to ensure that their procurement and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) departments align their operational procedures with the digital portal.

He also called on the concerned public to ensure maximum compliance with the directive.

Mr Adedokun said stakeholders requiring onboarding details, technical assistance, integration support or further information could contact its Help Desk via info@bpp.gov.ng.
