News Investigators/ The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has issued a disclaimer on a press release issued by its Head of Press and Public Relations, Zira Zakka Nagga.
The said press release is in connection with a suit by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN)
According to Zira in a statement on Friday in Abuja, the purported press release is not authentic and should be disregarded.
“The attention of the BPP has been drawn to a purported press release circulating in the public space and allegedly issued by the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Bureau, Zira Zakka Nagga.
“The bureau, hereby, categorically states that the said press release did not emanate from the Office of the Press and Public Relations of the BPP.
“It does not represent the position, will, approval, or directive of the Bureau in any manner whatsoever.
“The general public is, therefore, advised to disregard the said publication in its entirety.”
