Benin Condemns Terrorist Attacks In Mali, Expresses Solidarity

News Investigators/ Benin condemns the terrorist attacks that struck several cities in Mali, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.

“The Beninese government has learned with dismay of the coordinated terrorist attacks that targeted several cities in Mali on April 25, 2026,” the statement said.

It expressed solidarity with the people of Mali, as well as with the country’s political, civilian and military authorities.

Malian Defence Minister Sadio Camara was killed in an attack on his residence in the town of Kati, near the capital Bamako, according to sources.

“We extend our support to the injured and offer our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives,” the Beninese foreign ministry statement said.
