Bago Vows To Complete All Ongoing Niger Road Projects

News Investigators/ Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru-Bago, has reassured the people of the state of his administration’s commitment to complete all ongoing road projects across the state.

The farmer-governor re-affirmed this when he inspected some road projects in Bida on Sunday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that some of the road projects inspected by the governor included; the Minna-Bida dual carriageway legacy road project, and the bridge linking Minna- Abuja road

Mr Umaru-Bago also inspected the ongoing 44-kilometre ring road project as well as the interchange bridge at the Western bypass Bida.

The ring road project, when completed, is expected to mitigate traffic congestion usually caused by articulated vehicles in Bida town, reduce environmental pollution, and road accidents.

Mr Umaru-Bago equally inspected the 11-kilometre dual carriageway from Bida low cost connecting Bida western bypass, which has reached 70 per cent completion.

Also inspected was the road leading to the Emir’s palace in Bida town.

All the mega road projects embarked upon by the farmer-governor are part of his “New Rebuilding Processes” under his “New Niger Agenda” to better the lives of residents of the state.
