Bago Distributes Vehicles To Officials In Niger

News Investigators/ Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, on Wednesday donated more than 100 vehicles to judges, boards and commission members in the state to enhance service delivery.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bago presented the vehicles to the official at the Government House in Minna.

Mr Bago said that the gesture was aimed at easing the movement of the beneficiaries to enable them to discharge their responsibilities more effectively.

He explained that his administration would continue to support government officials with the necessary tools to improve efficiency and productivity in public service.

The governor presented the vehicles to the Niger State Secondary Education Board, Civil Service Commission, the Local Government Service Commission and the House of Assembly Service Commission.

Others beneficiaries are the Law Reform Commission, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Niger State Universal Basic Education Board and the Judicial Service Commission.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to NAN expressed gratitude to Bago for the gesture and saying that it would encourage them to give their best.
