APC Reps Aspirant Unveils N100m Empowerment Plan

News Investigators/ An All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi, says youths and small business owners in the constituency will be supported with over N100 million grant.

Mrs Fajemirokun-Ajayi made this known on Sunday while speaking with newsmen at the Government Field in Ore, Odigbo Local government.

She said the initiative was aimed at empowering youths, strengthening small businesses and creating sustainable economic opportunities across the constituency.

According to her, the programme is part of efforts to unlock the economic potential of Odigbo through deliberate investment in enterprise development and job creation.

She described the constituency as an area richly blessed with agricultural resources, particularly rubber estates and palm oil production, as well as a vibrant youthful population capable of driving economic growth.

“We are not waiting for government to create jobs for us; we are creating opportunities ourselves.

“The people told me they want prosperity, and my duty is to work with all levels of government to make that happen,” she said.

The aspirant noted that the grants would target micro and small-scale businesses with the aim of helping them expand operations and improve livelihoods.

Fajemirokun-Ajayi also commended party supporters, particularly women and youths, for their participation in the APC primary election in the constituency and decried the delay in the announcement of the results.

The aspirant called for a transparent and credible process in the conduct of the primary, urging the party leadership and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the wishes of party members were respected.

Fajemirokun-AjayI expressed confidence in the leadership of the APC and the Ondo State Government to ensure fairness in the process.

The aspirant added that any dispute arising from the exercise would be pursued through peaceful and democratic means.
