The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has adopted the time table for the party’s National Convention slated for 26th of next month.
The time table was the outcome of the 19th regular meeting of the APC held on Wednesday at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
A statement by Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), stated that the party unfolded its schedule of activities which include amongst others to receive the Interim report of the National Reconciliation Committee on the 31st of this month, consideration and adoption of reports of State Congresses on February 2nd 3022 and
inauguration of the State Executives on 3rd of next month.
Also, sales of forms to all aspirants vying for National Offices (APC National Secretariat) would begin on 14th of February.
It was stated that submission of completed forms and accompanying documents at the APC National Secretariat would be on or before February 19th 2022 while publication of Sub-Committees commences on the 19th of February 2022.
The statement stated that the screening of all aspirants vying for National Offices would take place from 20th – 22nd of February 2022 while members of the Screening Appeals are to hear and resolve complaints arising from the screening exercise on 23rd of February 2022
According to Senator Akpanudoedehe the accreditation of all statutory and elected delegates to the National Convention would begin from 24th – 25th of February 2022.
He stressed that the National Convention to elect National Officers to the National Executive Committee (NEC) would start on the 26th of February 2022.
He added that members of the National Convention Appeal are to hear and resolve complaints arising from the National Convention on 28th of February 2022.
