Abuja Chamber Of Commerce Reschedules AGROMEQA Expo 2026 To November

News Investigators/ The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has rescheduled its Agricultural Mechanisation for Export-Quality Products in Africa (AGROMEQA) EXPO 2026 to November.

The ACCI President, Emeka Obegolu, disclosed this in a statement by the chamber’s Media and Strategy Officer, Mrs Olayemi John-Mensah, on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to Mr Obegolu, the programme being organised in collaboration with the Agricultural Trade Group and JMT Plus Farms and Agro-Allied, earlier scheduled for June 10 to June 12, will now hold on Nov. 15 to Nov. 16 in Abuja.

Mr Obegolu said that the decision was to allow for wider consultation and  participation of relevant actors and stakeholders across the agricultural and agribusiness value chain, both within Nigeria and internationally.

Mr Obegolu said that additional preparation period would provide greater opportunities for government institutions, development partners, investors, agribusiness operators, equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, researchers, farmers’ associations, and international participants.

He added that the preparation would effectively engage and contribute to the success of the Expo tagged “Technology and Investment for Agro-Export.”

He urged all partners, exhibitors, sponsors, participants, stakeholders and the general public to take note of the new date.

The president also reaffirmed the chamber’s commitment to advancing agricultural transformation and enhancing Nigeria’s export competitiveness.

He said that the organisers remain committed to delivering an exceptional platform that would promote agricultural mechanisation, strengthen export-quality production systems, facilitate technology transfer, and attract sustainable investments into Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

According to him, AGROMEQA EXPO 2026 remains a strategic initiative designed to support national priorities on food security, economic diversification, job creation, value addition, and export-led growth.

He said that the export would continue to serve as a premier platform for showcasing modern agricultural technologies, facilitating business-to-business engagements, promoting investment partnerships, and strengthening linkages across the agricultural value chain.

While appreciating the understanding, patience, and continued support of all stakeholders, Obegolu assured them of a highly impactful and successful event.

He added that further information regarding participation, exhibition opportunities, sponsorship packages, and programme details would be communicated in due course.
