News Investigators/ Mohammed Muluku, Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, Nasarawa State, has urged Nigerians to vote for President Bola Tinubu and all other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Mr Muluku made the call on Saturday during a meeting with members of his support group tagged: “Rt. Hon. Muluku Like Minds” in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
The commissioner, who is also the Overseeing Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, said President Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule had performed well, hence his call for continued support.
He said that voting for Tinubu and all other candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC) would enable the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
Mr Muluku appreciated his supporters for standing by him and his activities at all times.
“I want to appreciate you for this visit and for your support to me at all times.
“I will not take this support for granted. I will continue to lobby for positions, empowerment, and bring projects to your various communities.
“I want to call on you to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Aliyu Ahmed Wadada, our APC governorship candidate, and Gov. Abdullahi Sule for Senate.
“Also, support Mr. Tony Shammah (TBS) for House of Representatives, Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency, and Mr. Albert Jatau for Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency in the State House of Assembly,” he pleaded.
The commissioner also commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides in the state.
“Gov. Abdullahi Sule has done well and is still doing well in almost all sectors of the economy.
“Let’s continue to give him our maximum support to succeed so that our people will continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” Muluku said.
The commissioner assured of the state government’s continued commitment to provide water to various communities across the state.
He also urged the people of the state to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their political affiliations.
Earlier, the leader of the group, Mr. Bala Agunji, said the visit was to appreciate the commissioner for his good work.
“All of us here are your like minds, supporters, and share your vision. We are from the seven electoral wards of Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency.
“Majority of us here have benefitted from you and we want to assure you of our loyalty and support for you to succeed,” Agunji said.
The team leader also assured the group’s commitment to mobilise support for all APC candidates to succeed in 2027.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting was attended by politicians and other stakeholders mobilised through the efforts of the commissioner.
