News Investigators/ Hanatu Gagara, Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Plateau, has charged members of the party to remain united and provide a credible alternative for citizens in the 2027 general elections.
Mrs Gagara, who spoke in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said the party would surmount its current travails, especially at the national level.
The chairman, who was re-elected during the ADC state congress on Saturday in Jos, stated that the party has a bright future if the members would not work at cross purposes.
She pledged to work with all members of the party to ensure that the ADC emerges victorious in the forthcoming elections.
“I would not have achieved this milestone without the support of the stakeholders and members of the party. Your faith, your work, and your commitment brought us to this moment.
“I reaffirm my unwavering loyalty to the unity and progress of our great party, the ADC.
“I pledge to keep our collective interest at the centre of every decision and every step we take forward.
“I am truly overwhelmed by the collective contributions to the growth of this party. It is your sacrifice, your ideas, and your tireless energy that have moved us from strength to strength.
“Yes, we have challenges before us. But let me assure you: we shall overcome our present challenges. With unity of purpose and our shared vision, there is no obstacle we cannot surmount together,” she said.
Mrs Gagara thanked members of the party for their collective contributions to the growth and development of the ADC.
The chairman promised that with their support, she would serve with dedication, integrity, and an open door to every member of the ADC family.
