The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has appointed 14,000 advisers and m 359 liaison officers in the state.
The Special Assistant, Media to the Governor, Mr Kelvin Ebiri, said in a statement on Tuesday that the 14,000 advisers would be in charge of the various political units in the state while the liaison officers will be in charge of the wards and local governments.
The appointees include 319 Ward Liaison officers and 49 local government liaison officers.
Ebiri, who said that the advisers will play a pivotal role in the administration, added that the appointments take immediate effect.

“In addition to the 14,000 advisers, Governor Wike has also appointed 319 Ward Liaison Officers and 40 Local Government Area Liaison Officers.
