The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Mr. Peter Obi has departed Nigeria for Egypt on a 3-day visit.
The movement is part of Obi’s campaign trip to countries with comparable advantage to the country.
Obi stated this in his official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
“Just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria.”
Obi while in Egypt would use the opportunity of the three-day visit to explore the economic potentials of the African country with special focus on her power sector, Education, Planning and Finance sectors.
He said, “In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors.”
The LP candidate had in the last few weeks touted round the states across the country in consultation,sensitization and awareness creation aimed at realizing his project in readiness for the 2023 Presidential elections.
His ambition which had support of the educated has dominated debates and indeed become the most discussed and contentious in the social media space.
