…LAWMAKER’s HEAD AND BODY FOUND IN TWO LGAs
Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has condemned the murder Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, member representing Aguata II Constituency at the State House of Assembly.
The lawmaker was kidnapped alongside his alongside his aide, Cyril Chiegboka on May 15, 2022.
Okoye’s head was found at Nnobi in Idemili South Local government area of Anambra State on Saturday.
Okoye’s body was later discovered on Sunday at Chisco Park, Amichi, South in Anambra State several kilometers from where his head was found.
The fate of Chiegboka is uncertain yet but unconfirmed reports have it that he too was killed.
A shocked and bitter Gov Soludo placed a N10 million reward for anyone or group that could provide useful information that could lead to the arrest of the savage heartless murderers.
He called on Anambra people to be ready for an all out war against the bloodthirsty criminal attacking the peace of the state.
He assured the people that Anambra would surely win the war against the evil people killing and kidnapping people in the state.
The saddened Governor condoled with the people of Isuofia his home town and that of the kidnapped lawmaker and the aide.
