SOLUDO: IPAC HAILS PROMISE TO CONDUCT LG ELECTION…CALLS FOR PATIENCE

The Chairman of Anambra State chapter of the Intra Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Chief Uche Ugwoji, has commended the newly sworn-in Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo for his promise to conduct Local Goverment election.

The group also solicited for support, encouragement and patience on the citizens of the state with the regime.

The IPAC boss commended the governor for the promise to conduct Local Government election in Anambra for the first time since 2014.

He stated that the elected Local Government administration will deepen democracy and enhance rural development and urbanization.

Ugwoji, therefore, said Governor Soludo needs the corporation of everyone in the State to enable him to settle down to unfolds his plans for the development and progress of the State.

Ugwuoji made the appeal while speaking on the expectations of IPAC on the new administration in Anambra.

According to him, the manifesto and blueprint of the new governor is people-oriented and what is required is to give him the time to implement it.

The IPAC boss noted that Soludo from all indications understands the challenges facing Anambra State and knows what to do to give the challenges, a effective response.

He reiterated the need for all hands to be on the deck to support the new administration adding that Soludo deserves cooperation and patience of the people of Anambra State.

On the ban placed on motor park and road side revenue touts by the governor, Ugwuoji who is also the State Chairman of Zenith Labor Party (ZLP) said the people are in support of the ban because it will sanitize the revenue system and safeguard the revenue of the State against looters.

He emphasized the position of IPAC to serve as advisory body to the administration of Soludo.
