News Investigators/ An Abuja based mother and hair stylist has called on well meaning Nigerians and security agencies to rescue her from the hand of an online fraudster.

The victim who spoke under anonymity said she encountered the hair products vendor named Amy Luxury Hair on facebook and decided to patronise them because the promo was attractive, not knowing it was fraudulent.

Explaining to News Investigators, she said due to the attractive promo, she decided to call and initiate conversation with them through their whatsapp and facebook accounts and subsequently paid a sum of ₦89,000 for 5 luxury hair on promo of ₦8,700 each and another 2 hair costing ₦44,000 as advertised with ₦1,500 for delivery service.

According to her, she initially refused to make payment until after delivery of product, but agreed and made payment after much persuasion because this is not her first time of buying product online where some will deliver after payment and some will take their money on delivery.

“This is not my first time purchasing goods online. Some will collect their money upfront and will deliver as promised but some will collect money after delivery. But this vendor convinced me to make payment before delivery after which they ceased to chat with me and subsequently blocked me because their number is no more going through.”

Calling on Nigerians to help her recover her money, she said the goods which were supposed to have arrived since July 11th 2024 is yet to arrive and being a struggling mother, she needs her money.

“I’m a struggling mother trying to make a living with my beauty salon. I thought I was dealing with a real seller on Facebook who told me their location is 29/30 Haruna Street, Off College Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.”

She further hinted the details of the account to which she made payment as First Bank with the account name Usman Nefisetu and account number 3214115038.
