Labour Party’s Alex Otti, Wins Guber Poll in Abia State

The Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Alex Otti has won the March 18, Gubernatorial gubernatorial election on Abia State.

Otti polled 175467 votes to defeat the Candidate of the PDP Candidate, Okey Ahiwe, who scored 88, 529 votes.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology, Owerri, Prof Nnena Otti, who was the state collation officer returned Otti as the winner of the election.

Otti was returned after the review of results from Obingwa Local Government Area where the People’s Democratic Party scored 9962 as against the 100,000 required to cancel the 92,000 less of the PDP.

The LP scored 3,776 votes from Obingwa Local Government Area.
