The ongoing NationaI Convention of the All Progressive Congress at the Eagles Square, Abuja, has been taken over by the hoodlums, who invaded the Convention ground, The Network can authoritatively revealed.
Following the morning stampede, our Correspondent observed the invasion of the arena by touts who engaged security operatives stationed at the gate of the venue.
It was gathered that the hoodlums who came to make money from the big politicians were seen chanting party slogans and hailing the APC bigwigs and candidates.
They attempted to forcibly broke into the venue thereby resulting in the collapse of the gate.
Many were feared injured while some of the hoodlums were arrested and taken away.
Though, no death was recorded, those who were injured were treated at the mobile clinic at the venue.
There are strong indications that the Convention may drag into the next day because the top leaders of the party arrived the venue late.
Security has been beefed up with more reinforcement at the venue.
