The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso,on Wednesday received a baptism of sachets water by people suspected to be street urchins while on a visit to Kogi State.
The Network gathered that the NNPP Presidential Candidate was in Lokoja, the state capital to inaugurate the party’s secretariat and his campaign offices.
It was learned that the street urchins invaded the hotel venue of the programme and started throwing sachets of water at him, preventing him from addressing his supporters.
Recall that Kwankwaso before the attack had visited Ogbonicha, the house of late Abubakar Audu, where he also received the same treatment.
His attackers were said not to be happy with him for trying to lure the late ex-governor’s supporters of the All Progressives Congress to his party.
Musa Yunusa, Kwankwaso ‘s media aide, said Kogi State is in love with the Kwankwassiya leader adding that the actions of the supporters are normal in politics.
