Hallmark Publisher, Prince Emeka Obasi dies at 58  

The flamboyant Hallmark Newspaper Publisher, Prince EMEKA OBASI, is dead.
Obasi died in Lagos State on Wednesday, March 16, after a protracted illness. He was aged 58.


A former employee of the  former Commissioner for Information, Abia State, during Orji Uzor Kalu government, said that Obasi had been battling an unknown health challenge for the past eight years.


OBASI was the founder and Executive Secretary, Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC), the organisers of the Zik Prize in Leadership Award.


The late journalist founded the National Mirror Newspaper, which he later sold to Mr Jimoh Ibrahim.
