…Says He Has Transformed Osun State

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun state has justified his bid for a second term in office with massive infrastructures, human and capacity buildings and acceptability of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the state.

The governor, in an interview with newsmen in Osogbo said his administration has been able to transform the state, in spite of the paucity of funds

Oyetola who attributed his modest achievements in office to his level of preparedness to serve the state said it is now left for the people to determine his fate in the next election.

The governor said, “We believe that given all that we have been able to do within the period of time with paucity of funds, if given the privilege, I will continue to improve on what we have done.

“In the area of rural roads, a lot has been done as well. As we speak, traditional rulers, artisans, workers have been endorsing us, most of them asking me continue.”

He added his achievements has earned him awards from reputable organizations including Business Day, Champion, Blueprint and Nigerian NewsDirect newspapers.

The governor stated that his background in the private sector assisted a lot in developing an economic blueprint which is now yielding economic dividend for the state.

Oyetola who declined comment on the chances of the opposition parties in the forthcoming gubernatorial election stated that APC remains the party to beat in the state.
